Only 2G in USA... Bought in Italy... How Can I Get 3G?

I recently bought a flipout in Italy, but when I returned to the USA I found that I only am getting 2G data connectivity on AT&T. I've tried flashing the Brazil baseband already. Is there another I should try, or will I never be able to get 3G on this device in the US? Thanks.

on the bottom of this site are different baseband files...you can copy the files using root explorer and replace the original files in the same folder like it´s in the zip file...
