Default How to reset battery file?

I was looking at my phone while it was charging and for some random reason the battery meter went from 40-60% instantly and when i disconnected the power it started to tran from 60%. I'm wondering that if i reset the battery file or something that this will get fixed? I also see that from 95% (phone doesn't reach 100%)-85% dies extremly fast and then it plateous to a steady decline throughout the day.

Anyone know how I can fix this problem?
If I have helped you, please thank me!

delete /data/system/batterystats.bin and reboot. but you do need root.

Yea, a new batterystats.bin will be created by the system.
