no.its not the same.i checked with SE USA dep and Arc s has arm cortex9 based CPU.not arm cortex8 on normall Arc

If you mean that you can get a faster processor, no, of course you can't. The phone will display LT18 because it reads the build.prop, but other than that, it will always be an Arc (LT15). So may I ask why would you want to do such a thing?
