Why? If it will be way faster and battery saver then it would be better for me to use. My battery drain too much. Charging every day. So no advice for roms/kernels to use??
|
Because since Gingerbread Quadrant does not produce reliable results anymore.
More important than any number is, if the phone is fast in every day use.

Other question: should i order a bigger battery from ebay 3500mAh extended battery with a little deeper back cover. Size doesnt matter just battery life

Be carefull! Batteries with such high mAh values are often bluff. If you read the accesories subforum carefully you'll find out that there are some batteries from Momax or Samsung that are working as promised. I personally have the 1650 mAh "Armani" battery from Samsung as size matters for me. Additionally I have a Powermonkey Explorer external battery (2200mAh) with different chargers (EU, US, UK, USB and a small solar panel). The solar panel needs of whole day of sun shine to charge, however.

I use JVS stock ROM with DarkCore 4 Kernel. The kernel applies ext4 automatically during first boot. I'd prefer SpeedMod kernel, but hardcore hasn't published a JVS based version so far and with the JVR version Wifi does not work correctly.
If you want OC/UV, you might want to try semaphore kernel (Please - any one correct me if I stated this wrong), which I haven't tested.
And because you are so keen on Quadrant results:
First run: 1897
Second Run: 2225
Third Run: 2359
And here you see why Quadrant is not reliable....
If you want correct benchmark results us CF-Bench or Antutu Benchmark, both available from the market.
Here are the results from my Galaxy with DarkCore 4 Kernel:
CF-Bench: 3848,1352,2350
Antutu BM: 2923
Using Android 4 on Samsung Galaxy SIII (Slimbean 4.2.2 Build 5.5, Yank Kernel 1.6) and Acer Iconiatab A700 (Stock, rooted)
Mobile Zoo:
Using Android 4 on Samsung Galaxy S (Slimbean 4.2.2 Build 5, Semaphore Kernel 2.9.25s)
Retired Devices: Sharp Netwalker, Sharp Zaurus C1000, Openmoko Freerunner, Motorola A780
