pop battery out and boot into recovery by holding down 3d button, the volume down button and powering on the device until you see LG logo, then use the option to install zip from SD card, if you cant find the zip, use the recovery option to mount the SD card to your computer and copy the zip after you download it from the computer and put it on the sd card.

I went through the instructions. The last part thought when unrooting via superoneclick failed. Now my phone no longer has root which is good, but I'm left with the superuser app which cannot be removed in any traditional sense because it's a system app.

Help? Thanks!

Can you open the superuser app in the app drawer? The same thing happened to mine and a restart removed it.

Yea it's fully functional, but when an app request for root it fails. The Superuser.apk is now a system/app application and can't be removed unless I re-root the device apparently. I've rebooted 2 or 3 times.

EDIT:

I fixed this by re-rooting it with Superoneclick, then using es file explorer as root and deleting the superuser.apk from /system/app. After rebooting I no longer have root access to anything and the phone looks/feels bone stock.

The only way to get stock recovery back is to manually flash it via adb. No rom should ever remove/replace it.
