I think we can start with automated ones like GingerBreak or Superoneclick! I will test tonight...I have been looking over the web about what actually rooting process does to the device and what files it will be adding or deleting and permissions but no luck so far!

I'm looking to find out how can we do it...so far just read something about this RageAgainstthecage.bin and I don't know even if these are old or not!

finally! a section for Sony Tablet.. I don't have it yet, but I played with it a lot in the office (yeah i work at Sony).. i love this tablet, except for the SD card - media transfer only.. once rooted SD card should be mountable.. then i'll get one for me..

You can already see it on the sony tablet, you use a third party app like file manager hd to look for files or mx video player To play movies off the sd card

Don't have high hopes for unlocked bootloader...devs seem not interested and it will be only in hands of sony,,,,but at least a root would be good now!
