Default [Q] Windows 8 on vmware
Has anyone been able install Windows 8 on vmware esxi 5? When I create a new virtual machine I set the settings for a Windows 7 PC. But when I boot from the dvd or iso image it disconnects and shuts down the virtual machine after it loads the installation files. (right after it boots from the dvd)

Currently its not possible, need to wait for esxi 5 updates.. check belwo guide

I install Windows 8 in vmware Workstation 8 without any problems.
Maybe this ist a solution for you.
