[Q] Defy Accessories in India

Hello all,

Lately I have been facing a lot of issues related to Defy Access.

Almost no one has any access for Defy here in Delhi. Looked online and only Amzer is providing the silicon cover and I ordered one too. But it's not at all good and looks very cheap.

Also I did mistake by ordering Mirror finish screen protector and the visiblity in open area has taken a hit. so will be changing it now.

Also I noticed, the light sensor is functioning very wierd. If i call or get a call, the screen turns black and to bring back the display I have to pull the screen guard near the screen protector. The same is happening with another person and he is using normal screen protector.

Any idea and options for better accessories in India or New Delhi??

Flipkart has the Anti glare screen protector from Amzer for 120 bucks.!!!
mine just got delivered today...... its ok ..... feels a bit rough...but a bit of the glare is reduced..... touch however feels even better than before especially while playing nova.

also, try Fommy.co.in ... they have all the accessories you night need including car docks.

Its good to go for Flipkart, they are quite trusted. But I opted for a local store for the screen protector!

do you have any idea where i can pick up a white back panel (battery door) in bangalore or if i can place an order online?

if you guys have any idea please tell me!

and is it just me or does EVERY one around me think that the defy is a bad phone! :@

i feel like pasting those shop keepers when they tell me "is product ke liye kuch nahin milega sir! :@ :@ :@ "


oh and also do any of you have the link to the froyo update???
i didnt make a back up and now i dont seem to be finding it!

I agree that Motorola is not so popular in India like Nokia or Samsung and getting accessories for it is a nightmare in showrooms.

But I completely disagree with you saying its a bad phone. Its the best phone in this price range and compared to other mobiles, its powerful too. I Love my defy

Exactly. Defy is far superior then other phones in this price bracket.
But finding accessories is such a pain. Have been to multiple shops, Online sites such as Flipkart etc but no use.

Almost all other phones have amazing back panels and covers available but not Defy.

defy is a superb phone dude best for rough and tough use, btw did u check ebay.in & here u can check this post for froyo rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1093352
