LiveID Xap Creator

Hi all,
i made a simple tool for create your own xap file able to edit wp7 reg value where you LiveID is stored.
Special thanks goes to xboxmod for his patience and "how to do it"...




You just need the Example.xap , type your LiveID and hit "Generate my own LiveID Xap". You'll find your Xap file called "MY_LIVE_ID.xap" in the same folder of exe.

Example.xap is needed because this program extract data from Example.xap and edit it.

I've got a HTC HD2 with [ROM] Back to the Future [XBmod-Yuki] @7392
Installed newly created XAP, ran it, then setup my Live ID.
It still reported a problem with my live ID and showed me the screen to put in the activation code... so it doesn't work with my device setup.

Had you ever inserted yor code before? had you overwrited the old one or this is first time?
Had you tried to run the program in your app list?

you need to update all the way to 7200!

To answer Ruzzichella:

Yep I've applied the activation code manually a few times before.
Each time I start phone with factory default.
I've run the application from my app list of the phone, pressed the green button and the app says DONE.

My phone is already at higher release than 7200... do you mean 7720?

I'm sorry can you clarify on exactly what this xap does? Automatically insert your windows live id? Or does it generate one for you? Thanks

it automatically puts YOURS in for you. you must have one first.
"type in your live ID"
