Thumbs up Otterbox Defender in the works!

Just noticed Otterbox has put up a page for a Defender series case for our beloved tablet:
Defender page link
er, well, I can't post links yet so yea, take a lookie on the Otterbox site and add your email to the notification list so they don't rethink their decision to make one for us!
I'm glad they even decided to make one since they had initially stated they wouldn't on their facebook page, i'm using the Trident's case at the moment which is great for a semi-slim case but sometimes I need more protection!

DONATE TO ME
Default HOORAY!!

BIG THANKS for the heads up!! Here's the link:
http://www.otterbox.com/HTC-EVO-View...g-tablet-cases

I'm using the Melkco "opens like a book" (my name for it not theirs) and it's great, except that the magnet affects the screen rotation

CAN'T WAIT!!!

I believe I was the one that straight out asked if they were going to do a flyer defender case... and they replied no. Glad to hear they changed there minds. If I had known about the trident case... I would have it. I sorta wish Seido would do one so we could have a choice.
I wish they would make it with the little holes in the back so it would attach to a window mount.

Not to discredit anyone...or challenge anyone... but could you really see yourself walking around with something as big a flyer hanging from your belt? Are we sure that isn't a photoshop job. Don't get me wrong... I want a defender case for my flyer as much as the next guy.

That pdf above is the official one from the Otterbox website. They are working on one; however the images on the pdf that show a clip on the case are not of the actual item - that's another phone and case (on there just to show the different levels of protection). In the images I've seen of the actual case, there won't be a belt clip. And, yes, hanging the Flyer from your belt would be silly.

Friend of mine gave his daughter his Dell Streak. It's in the otterbox defender with belt clip. Says she looks like an adult with an iPad strapped to their hip.
Winter is coming.

Have we forgotten the early 90's and the bricks people used to hang on their belts that were 'high tech' cell phones for the period? It would be so retro. :P

Early 90's??!! I was carrying one of these things on my hip a little over 4 years ago! Just for scale, the one on the right has a compact flash wifi adapter sticking out of it.

Winter is coming.
