We can all keep telling ourselves it doesn't, but there is no excuse for a 15 second delay between hitting the camera button and having the picture taken...
yeah, its pretty much ridiculous. Someone should make a flashable zip to put the D3 camera into the stock Odex/deodex rom as well, for anyone that doesn't want to reflash their whole rom. I might play around with it later on and see if just the APK needs swapped out or libs as well and build a zip.
VZW Razr maxx - Stock rooted 98.72.16

Asus tf300t - Stock rooted 4.2.1

Well, I can say that the D3 camera does not make it faster. Must be a hardware issue.

Moving forward, this ROM is pretty nice. Just booted up about 10 minutes ago and all of my apps redownloaded. Looks like I won't be needing you this time, Titanium.

I posted this in general too, but After installing V1.0, I am unable to get into recovery at all. Bootstrap doesn't work, Rom Manager doesn't work, phone reboots, get a dual ring tone, and then back to normal use. I would love to update to 1.2 but this whole not getting into recovery is killing me. I looked around the forums and seems everyone having the same issue installed bootstrap and used it and was fine. Anyone have any suggestions? I have tried those ideas and my phone just normal reboots.

question. For the first install of this ROM do I need to format /system? I know it says coming from any other ROM or when updating. This is a vague statement of course you will be coming from another ROM or updating when flashing new software

nevermind I just checked the Youtube video out, but just for people that read too much or too little into stuff, and I'm not trying to be anything other than positive I just get confused easily sometimes, that statement about the format /system should be made clear as to whether coming from stock needs to format

Are you using the newest bootstrap from the market? And did you hit bootstrap and get success before you hour boot recovery?

This is happening to me as well. I can get it to randomly work by uninstalling and reinstalling the bootstrap from the market.

For some inane reason, the market won't let me download the My Verizon app. Says it's not available on my carrier!

EDIT: Actually, I was able to find the apk on my own. I'm not sure if it's permissible to post here, but if anyone needs it, PM me and I can send.

1.0 had the old Boot Strap included. 1.2 does not. Because Koush release the official. Uninstall all of them, download the newest one, open it, hit Bootstrap Recovery, allow SU permissions and you should have success.

Nothing in the ROM will effect Bootstrap.

I was having this issue aswell and figured it out I think. Go to the bionic bootstrap app and click "Bootstrap Recovery". Then go to ROM Manager, click "Flash Clockworkmod Recovery". Let it flash, the click "Reboot into Recovery".

Then after doing this I seem to be able to reboot into recovery from Rom manager with out doing the above prossess.

Hope that helps...
