Useless thread for a known issue.

I'm just trying to figure out why only Gingerbread has bad wifi. Froyo didn't in my experience.

Froyo was offical. It had all the bugs worked out. Gingerbread have all been leaks so my guess is that it is still being worked on. At least i am hoping this is the case because this wifi does just suck.

The obvious response would be: read or search whats been posted before asking an already covered question. Though id like to know, really what is it that's different in GB to cause this?

Also the wifi is not that bad, it works for home use, you flash back to Froyo if its that much a problem.

Why does it matter? Knowing the reason for it is pretty useless imo.
