Ya that sucks.. Glad you figured that part out.... Anyways it's all good man.. My thing is im not running any 3rd party apps and the cpu OS under battery stats in the main menu is showin 10% just sitting at homescreen... I dunno what is causing that since my market wifi and everything isn't even set up.... You can just watch it go up all on it's own...

Im hoping to hear back from virus ... Or see a fix sometime soon..

Well I wanted you, Virus and the good people of the forum to know.. I'm sorry for crying wolf! Haha!
No kidding man CPU OS climbed to 18%... I'm so nooby and don't have the skillz to diagnose it. So I left to v76.

Is it alright to keep this rom going with all the CPU business going on? Should I go to an older nightly?

Me I rolled back.... I dunno as long as your OS doesn't hit 30% to 70% you should be safe till virus throws out a fix unless it is stickin there mine was ..... I just don't like my OS going up on it's own..

I check under my about phone in the battery stats part what is using battery.... It always showed the OS at 10% and going up without me doing anything highest it went was up to 25% cause it seemed to keep going I had let my phone sit asleep for 8hrs and it never went back down stayed at 20%..... Then it would go up again... I got worried it would peg out since it jumped like that in just a few mintues..

So I have no idea other then virus tweaked something hoping to see what he is gonna do next lol..

Not sayin don't use the rom feel free to do what you want and test. I just didn't wanna use it since I had that issue....

I had these CPU Problems like all the others, abnormal usage, cpu spiking while just looking at the graph.

I fixed it, I deleted all the init.d scripts from 79, and copied in all the ones from 78. Booted into recovery, and wiped caches. Ever since then, been running just like 76,77, and 78. Except I can use my GPS.

Where would I find the init.d scripts at?
