Your remark is very interesting and you can post here your modem.bin file you can extract from your 3uk stock ROM. Usually, this is a tar (or tar.md5 : just rename it by removing .md5 at the end) file or and exe file (Exe file is a self extracted exe on PC/windows). Once you will extract (unzip if you like) everything on your PC. Into sub directory, you should find modem.bin file.

Let me know by PM.
Thanks, will try when I get home!

Here it is.. I recommend all THREE users to try this modem as it is a MASSIVE improvement from any other modem...

Maybe someone more experienced than me could have a look into the modifications done by THREE to this modem and apply them on other versions...

Attached as a zip package flashable through CWM.

This is NOT the regular KF2 that you can find all over XDA, its extracted from my stock 3UK Rom, its modified by Three to serve their network better, and I can say they have done a good job.

Once again this is NOT the regular KF2 Modem

Your modem NEKF2 is working fine with my network provider. I will bench it and add to the main post of this thread. Thanks a lot for this sharing.
By the way, months ago, when I was using litening v1.5, modem KF2 was the must of my list

Yeah.. It gives me 3 bars where any other modem gives only 1 or even none...

Glad I could help!

Anyone compare NEKF2 from this thread with XXKI3 when on Bell or Telus in Canada?

I have poor reception near my house and am wondering which would work better.

I advise you to try this is very safe. In worse case, you must reflash another modem. In France, this modem seems to have a good network connection. For example, with my provider it is difficult to have 3G data within my flat or any building, but when I tried last night I got H+... I am doing my battery benchmark and meanwhile I will see if connection is good.

Would you be able to upload the CSC from your stock 3UK rom? I've flashed the modem and it hasn't made much of an impact. I downloaded the 3UK CSC From the other thread but it doesn't seem to flash over Darkyrom 2 KI3 Still shows the CSC that came with it when i dial *#1234#
