Default Root on 4.0.A.2.377

Update your phone to the 377 firmware..

Unlock the bootloader with the Testpoint / s1tool method.

Enter fastboot mode and flash an unsecure boot.img.

Root the phone with superoneclick.

Install Superuser from market and update the su binary and be sure you get a success.

Enter fastboot mode and flash the signed kernel.sin from 377 to boot section.

All done. Rooted phone. 377 fw with secure stock kernel.

Hi FastDuck, I really glad to your explanation about how to root this (377) firmware, but there are some questions about that.
  1. How to make unsecured boot.img file?
  2. How to flash the signed 377 kernel.sin to boot section?

Please tell me, I'm really noob about this one

To make an unsecure boot.img.. Long story short.. You need to decompress the Kernel.sin from the firmware. Extract the ramdisk. Change a properties file. Repck the ramdisk with the kernel image.. Very short version.. Download boot.img from the developer thread.

You flash the kernel.sin same way as boot.img.
Fastboot flash boot kernel.sin
