Error 801811A3 updating Trophy

i just popped my htc trophy and got a notification that HTc updates are available, when i tried to update i got the error message with error code 801811A3, i am currently running Mango 7720 RTM. can any one help with this.

Did you change your carrier code previously? If so, you need to change it back.

No, i am using an open sim-free phone not tied to any carrier.

Try to switch off the phone, take out the battery, wait for 30 seconds, put the battery back and try to update again.

I still cant get through. this is frustrating.

Phew!!! done running HTC software update, after battling for hours with error code: 801811A3. resolved by checking the BITS services and restarting. i followed the steps outlined here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484...e=step801811A3
Now waiting for the official mango update.

i have the same exact problem..I will check the link and will post if im successful with the update. T__T cant wait for the mango!lets hope its sweet!

Can somebody please confirm if those of us already running leaked 7720 RTM will get the official mango. i was only able to get HTC update for windows phone.

i read all threads, tried to fix it, i am shure my lapi is ok because i tried it on 3 other pc and it doesn't work. i am desperate because my provider and ms don't help me. can i update without zune?

You can try using CAB sender to force the update.
