[Q] Touchstone Charger Mod

So, I picked up a touchstone charger to go with my touchpad. I also have the phone touchstone charger modded to work with my Incredible. I'm curious to know if the the touchstone for the touchpad uses the same induction pieces as in the phone<->touchstone charger (phone end specifically). I would like to charge my kindle with the touchstone charger, but do not want test with either my phone or the kindle. If this is the case, the touchpad charger could be made quite useful to many things. Thanks.

Ah yes. I've done this for my phone. My question is, will the touchpad version work with the same part that goes into the phone for the kindle? Something tells me the amperage is going to be higher in the touchpad version, thus killing the 1.0a for charging phones or the kindle.

i have a powermat inductive charging pad with a door for my old dx. i tried the charger with my tp but it doesnt work. I dont think there is a difference between that and the powermat

hi because I wanted to use all web os on my touchpad I decided to buy the pre 3 there is a different dock to buy , and if I look at the back of the pre 3 there's like a cell that revives power from the touchstone and then charges the battery if this even helps think there will need to build in a reciver like in the pre3 to then send power to the battery and like on the power mat they also have case that revives power for the iphone 3
