Why there is a file extra.bin in system folder?

In what way will this improve GPS compared to correct GPS.conf for area or an app like Faster Fix .
In UK file i see.

Could I flash Serbia.zip on CWM, but when I enter in Spain, just flash Spain.zip in CWM?

Anything u can - each new installation overwrite old files but after leaving your Country should be switched automatically to the GPS nearest and best satellite. Still testing.

can i use it on miui too?

sorry i m not sure . CM7 working but MIUI is different. It shoul be work. Make backup and try .
