Sorry to bother you guys but I just have a question that is bothering me.

I went out and purchased the usb adapter and a powered usb hub. I connected a CD-ROM drive and hard drive and neither worked. What am I doing wrong. I could not access the file system of either one.

It recognized that usb devices were connected but it just did access the hard drive and it did not care that the CD-ROM drive was there. I tried both Task's V7.1 rom and Pershoot's kernel and same thing.

Will the kernel in your new ROM have the proper drivers for such? If not how can I get my 10.1 to recognize them?

It won't work with a drive that needs power. A flash drive will work. You might try to power the drive with a separate power adapter

Man it crazy how many new roms are coming out! Hey is there any chance of a odex version? Onmy evo 3d there is a odex rom that is much much smoother than the deodex version. Thanks.

odexed and deodexed shouldn't have any difference in speed bro. it a matter of how the apps and files are split up. For example... the if the market app is in odex form there are actually 2 different files that call upon eachother to be read correctly and be used. now the deoedexed version of the same market app only has one. so if you think about it, its taking up less space in your system freeing it up for other things.
