Confirmed working on i9020T CM7 Nightly 212. Wallet forced close on first time, but it worked the second time and no problem thus far. Only matter of time to visit a business and see if it works :)

Any help?

I am not sure the problem here. Did u factory reset? And install in that order? Not sure if this could help but did u use matrix kernal?

Has anyone confirmed that (on CM nightly) that a full data wipe is absolutely necessary? i.e. just flashing the zip in recovery (without a data wipe) does not result in a fully functioning Google Wallet app, while performing the instructions in the OP yields success.

Has anyone confirmed that a full data wipe is absolutely necessary?

it forced closed before i wiped, after i wiped it works perfectly.

On a side note, i created a google prepaid card when i installed the wallet on stock. then when i installed wallet on CM#211 it did not "sync" my existing prepaid card, it said it was 'provisioning' one, makes me think i might have more than one prepaid card now, would love more info on this if anybody knows

    Google Wallet v1.0-R33v4 unlocked for Tmobile / Others

    Finally!

    Got this (more recent) version of Wallet working on TMobile Nexus S (should work on others too, but I tested on TMobile).

    If you remove 127.0.0 1 www.google-analytics.com from your /etc/hosts file (normally done via AdBlocker-Hosts) then you MIGHT be able to get your CitiBank card to work too. I did.

    This fix removes the carrier/handset restrictions that force it to only work on Sprint NS4G.

    Try it and let me know if it works for you :)

    This works on miui 1.9.30 odex from china
    which is 95% English

    I have the build.prop modified as 2.3.6
    instead of miui is
    ro.build.id=GRK39F
    ro.build.display.id=GRK39F

    Basically am using the build.prop from 2.3.6 ota instead of the miui

    Got 1.0-R33V6 working bug-free (I think). Check the R33V6 thread for all the info!

    Working on latest MIUI Android (English)

    Confirmed that this is working on the latest MIUI.

    Still had to do a full data wipe, clean install ROM and then install the wallet zip file as mentioned in the original post.

    After booting up, changed the following 3 lines in build.prop:
    ro.build.id=GRK39F
    ro.build.display.id=GRK39F
    ro.build.version.release=2.3.6

    And that was it. Even got the $10 prepaid card, even though I haven't been able to test it anywhere. Anybody has had any luck in Australia?
