Bluetooth worked. I successfully transferred a file from my hero to my 3D. USB was iffy, but worked.

Wont boot.

Once I click restart system, I get white htc screen, then android out of box icon, white htc, then back to recovery.

Clockwork 2.5.0.7
Coming from aospcmod with firerats.
Wiped data/cache
Formatted boot, system, data, cache as well.
Flashed.

Firerats is your problem. You need to refresh recovery to remove it

Hey guys, I recently acquired a Hero and just loaded this ROM. Everything seems to be working fine, however, it's a little sluggish. I know the hardware of the Hero isn't the most powerful, but is there any way to overclock this ROM? I'm new to the Hero but not new to Android mods. Thanks for any help

if you read a few post behind, dastin is correct. I always have to install clockwork mod, flash the recovery, then boot to recovery and install any sense rom from there. Works for me all the time.

Ok my bad then, I was under the impression that Bluetooth was not working. So main problem is messaging then, ill look into it, don't want tazz to have all the fun now do we? Lol

My initial test

Figured I'd report on a few of the common questions I hear.

Installed this with the 2.6.35.14 kernel, everything has been running well so far.
SMS FC'd when sending, Go SMS Seemed to send, but then FC'd shortly after,
Handcent sends messages and so far has not FC'd. So far I've only found one
WiFi tethering app that has worked for me (open garden wifi tether), which I
have not really used for more than 5 minutes. Connected my laptop to the
phone briefly to test it and it seemed to work fine. Tried several other WiFi
tethering apps with no success. Camera and focus work fine, even though I've
had autofocus issues on other roms with the same kernel.

The random reboots I had with the initial release are now gone. Don't have
time to test much else tonight. I'll run the rom for a while longer yet, and
report back if I find anything else, and, try to pull some logcats if I find
anything particularly nasty.
