Default S-ON wont boot PC36IMG.zip

so,I have to take my phone in for repair, I did what I did last time.

Unrevoked S-on
then load the most current pc36img.zip and follow the prompt.

It is not working this time. It loads (blue bar on the side) but does not do anything after it checks the zip. It goes back to the original screen. I have read for over 2 hours and have not found a fix that seems to work. I have downloaded 6 different .zip but none work.

I have
S-ON
hboot-2.10.0001
radio-2.15.00.11.19
running 2.3.3 with sense 3.0. software number 4.53.651.1

If you have any ideas or tips please post away.

Thanks

Try formatting your SD card to fat 32 and then try again. Or you could download a ruu and run that

Deck's + SZ + SuperCharger script + ViperMod script.

If you are s-on then your bootloader is locked.

You have to be s-off for it to successfully load the pc36img.zip

So, first go back to stock, then go s-on.

The PC36IMG has to have a hboot greater than or equal to your current hboot version. The fact that it won't load the image seems to be related to the SD card. Either back up the contents of the card and format it, or try running the RUU from your computer.

Are you sure it is just .zip and not .zip.zip?

yes I have check to make sure it was a zip and not a .zip.zip. Thanks

I will try the ruu method I guess. I have tried the latest zip off shipped roms and it did not load. I have tried multiple sd cards and it does not seem to matter.

Thanks

the ruu method worked perfect.

It was much easier than I thought it would be.

followed this guide
http://theunlockr.com/2010/06/14/how...t-the-htc-evo/

then went to shipped roms and downloaded the latest ruu.
