The Xperia Neo (as many other SE models) has two microphones. The one on the front side used for speech during a call and one on the back used for movie recording (and noise surpression). Would it be possible to somehow disable the mic in the back in a non destructive way and use only the front one for recording?
The reason i am asking is because the mic on the back produces very distorted sound in loud environment, so basically what i need is to record the sound from a direction which is not facing its source.
I really need to find a solution for this, otherwise i would need to pick another phone. This feature is really important for me, i regret for selling my Nokia N97 which produced much clearer sound in loud environments - see here
