I have the desktop dock and it says to download Samsung Desk Home app but when i go to download I get a message that it's not available from my carrier.... which is att. What is the solution here?

It looks like they need to update it in the market, it lists 2.3.3 as the highest it supports, and we are on at least 2.3.4.

You also can try to turn on Airplane Mode, then turn WiFi on only (leaving Airplane mode on) or removing the SIM and booting the device up. When there is a carrier block, removing the SIM from the equation tends to bypass those blocks.

yep great suggestion! I took out the sim, didn't even reboot, launched market and was able to get samsung desk home right away! popped sim back in after the download and install. Great thanks!

So I went looking for this yesterday before I read your post, found the app and installed it no problem.

Just went back and looked in the market and the app was updated yesterday. You can now install it with out all the song and dance.

I tried to get it, but I'm getting an error saying this item is not available on your carrier...

I did the airplane mode wifi trick and also booted without sim. Both didn't work...

I don't suppose someone can post the APK?

EDIT: I force stopped market and cleared data. It let me dl no problem without going into airplane mode and etc

cool i guess they updated it. I'm glad to know the dock works horizontally as well, the clock vertical looked weird.
