Thanks so much projektorboy for the files! Also, I was wondering...Updating bootloader is not required right? Also..I read that this works on .902, which I am on. I am on safestrap with cm 9 on safe and stock on unsafe. If I just used the radiocomm hack, is that enough to enable GSM?

thanks again

Data works on AT&T. You'll get up to 3G speeds.

Bootloader updates are not required. The hack works perfectly fine on Bootloader 0A.61. I haven't done any testing on the 5.9.902 radios though.

After the GSM hack, the only way you'll be able to change radio modes while a GSM SIM card is inserted is by going through the *#*#4636#*#* menu.

Im starting to think this doesnt work at all on T-Mobile.

*#*#4636#*#* sees my sim but i have signal with red slash over it.

constant reboots/toggle airplane mode and nothing works at all.

Default I have it working on T Mobile, with a micro Sim.

I have this working perfectly on T Mobile. Ask me anything...

I simply followed the instructions given in this thread on page 2. I use a mac so I had to run windows virtualized using Parallels. I used Windows 7.

Also, my T Mobile sim card is a micro sim. I have one of those because at one point I was using a iphone 4 (and then 4s) and I heard that T was starting to stock micro sims for iphone users! I know at the time there was no phone offered by T which used the micro sized sim, although that might have changed since.

Anyway, like I said, I am using the micro sim, it was tricky to get it working right away, it never seemed to want to line up, but eventually I got it working.

I can not get the APN settings screen to open, it always fails with an error message. Also, I have not upgraded to ICS, I want to but I don't know if I will, I've read about those who could not get the GSM card recognized once they left gingerbread.

Anyway, that is all. Good luck guys.

Also, does this phone have a built-in screen grab utility? If not I'll use my dslr...
