Default [Q] Clockwork won't install on Optimus 2x WIND

I've had this optimus for 2 weeks with the stock 2.2.2; the system didn't feel as an upgrade from my X10. Once I heard Cyanogen 7.1 stable for the x2 was out I decided it was time to upgrade.

I have installed MIUI on a liquid and such so I have an idea of the process. Following guidelines on wiki cyano; I rooted my phone then installed ROM manager premium. when running the clock work patch i get an error message "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands" I have run the "fix permission issues" without success. On top of that once the error message is cleared the phone reboots into a loop and the only way out is through Android recovery (3e) pwrbt + vol- for 5 sec

currently clockwork 5 is out for some phones but likely wont be out for the x2 for a while.

any input is apreciated

It's a problem with Super User and not with file permissions. You could try to directly install Clockworkmod from your computer using this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1098745

You connect your phone, checking first that debug USB mode is enabled and then you run the bat file (or sh if you are Linux) from console (cmd in Windows). It has psneuter exploit and ADB drivers included so could work without ROM Manager.

Root your phone again, check Super User app version (version 3 at the moment with binary version 3.0) in the settings menu of the app. Then you can also try to manually authorize ROM Manager in Super User app.

CWM 5 works very well with O2X since weeks.
SGS3 I9300 - Various kernels - null_ ROM/Jelly Bam - Philz Recovery

Asus transformer Prime - Team Baked 6 (thanks to craigacgomez) - JB bootloader - TWRP Recovery

Stop. The wind optimus 2x is actually a g2x in disguise. Don't nvflash anything from these forums or use the scripts here. Go to the g2x forums. You risk bricking your phone. Also always use nvflash to flash recovery, not ROM manager.

So after help from Tahahawa and this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1056847 My phone is working fine, no crashes or such Cyanogen 7.1 . One issue is that my sim is't recognized, its in the phone but once booted up "no sim". is this a wind issue or mine?

So does that mean we should be using the cm7 g2x rom for wind phones? I tried to flash the 2x rom but got a status 7 error on cwm.
Also I tried blazing dragon in the 2x forum and get boot looped.
What's the solution.....I'm stuck :)

Thanks Kolo2x -I tried the g2x ROM and it took - but after reboot it goes to the blue LG logo screen (the same screen before it goes to cwm)...and it hangs there.
I'm gonna try another ROM in the G2x dev section...but any advice would be welcome.
