Default Quadrant

Before root about 2500-2750
After root and bloat removed - 3100 was my lowest and seem to hover between 3300-3600

For those here that have rooted and removed bloat how did you do on this?

you could have a score of 5000 on quadrant and this phone will still lag. I Guess Quadrant is the iphone of benchmarks. The lag problems comes from the GPU. I just bought the Galaxy Player with really is a oversized Vibrant with identical hardware.minus the phone. And it plays back videos better. And the tw is silky smooth. The GPU needs to be optimized on the g2. BTW on the galaxy player scored 1143 on quad. 2000 pts less than the g2 scored. But the galaxy Player runs smoother out of the box.

DONATE TO ME
Since I happen to have my NS next to my GS2 I decided to do some side-by-side tests. For reference the GS2 is rooted, bloat removed and is set to 1520MHz with the performance governor and the NS is on -=Nexus MV=- with an undervolted kernel (but it has the bus speed boosted so it still performs very well)

Antutu -
SGS2: 5383
NS: 2905

Quadrant -
SGS2: 3439
NS: 2978
(Oddly, for this test the NS had higher 2D scores 390 and 511 respectively)

Smartbench 2010 -
SGS2: 620/2810
NS: 901/2114
(For this test, the mandelbrot section absolutely MURDERED the SGS2)

Smartbench 2011 -
SGS2: 3200/2228
NS: 819/2178
(And finally, the SGS2 actually finished a full 45 seconds before the NS on this one)
~Phone History~
HTC MyTouch 3G (Sold)>Samsung Epic 4G (Traded)>HTC Evo 4G (Sold)>Samsung Nexus S (Sold)>T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 2 (AKA Hercules)

It lags cause apparently the gpu isn't being utilized at all. Just the cpu with asynchronous you will see lag with no help from the gpu i have no idea why samsung decided not to use the gpu at all. Seems to me they didn't even bother thinking about coding it properly for games either.
