So here are the details of the most expected aakash tab (Updated january 14 2012)

1.Govt declined to buy next set about 1 lakh tablets from Datawind company ie UBISLATE7+ due to complaints from users about bad build quality such as
a> tab become brick when pressing wifi on
b>tab get bricked when using for 10 minutes and not starting agin
c>CNN opened the device in public and displayed cheapest plastics and wires for connection which is about just 1300/- and the rest ie 1500 is their profit.
d> Datawind got much publicity through Govt, already got pree booking of 2 million indians including me and jumpted from 5 million company to half billion company capital
2.About UBISLATE7+(latest name).........hardware
1)has wifi and phone modem(so calling surfing...all possible)
2)chance for integrated speaker
3)other functions same as old bad Aakash tab(now called Ubislate7)except a cortex a8 processor
software:
1)so will run Gingerbread(which has a minimum req of 700mhz and 128 mb ram)
2) Confirmed Still no android market(as it does not comply with android compatibility standards such as requirement of atleast one camera)so no google supports(u get getjar app pre installed)
3)should have introduced 278mb ram which is the requirement of android 2.3 fr running with out force clossing of apps

any how you can get an android phone and tab without accelerometer but with 2gb internal flash memory at 3000/- which is a good deal if atlest it work for atleast one year...
i am hoping it should not shut down automatically when starting wifi....
