I'm just wondering: to what extend is it safe for the device? I know my cat uses her claws when we play similar games in real...

My mother-in-law's cat goes crazy for this kind of stuff. She's declawed so I don't have to worry about the claw issue. I'll have to give this a shot with her, though.
