Kernel from internal memory is used for all ROMs (this is limitation of MultiROM - it _could_ be solved by kexec, but as you noticed, I do not really work on MultiROM anymore), and I guess there is something ICS-only in that CM9 kernel. Can't do anything about that, sorry.

Can't you read? It requires kexec module for our kernel and that needs probably a lot of work.

ics caf kernel isnt compatible with gb. happens with me too. use some older caf kernel by tachtung

MultiROM doesn't change anything in recovery, so it works with every recovery system.
