Maybe led blinking is useful but annoying (above all in the night) and eats battery.
I am on 1.2 with no oc kernel (default). I hv noticed that the camera app shows no preview, just a plain white screen. The camera works, I am able to click images and view them in gallery however only the preview is a blank in the camera app. I've tried lg cam from da market but the result is the same.
Any ideas?
Has anyone else faced this issue or is it just me?

The camera whiteout is caused due to CF3D drivers. Uninstalled the Chainfire Driver and all is good again.

I think that every Rom should have its own personality, if for you is important to choose what you want during installation, you must download the djsteve 2.4.4.
In my opinion, you can do the same choices but in more updated way, downloading little separated zip packages (like CRT animation or portrait), or download what you want from the market....
Repeat, this is only my opinion...

In conseguenza ai recenti fatti accaduti qui su XDA fra il sottoscritto e l'utente che si fà chiamare "_n0p_", ho scritto nella giornata di ieri un'email di contestazione ai moderatori di XDA, dove facevo presente, con riferimenti e link dei vari post, che sono stato ingiustamente e pesantemente insultato, nonchè additato come ladro.
L'utente in questione infatti, ha messo in dubbio la vericidità del mio lavoro, sostenendo che il kernel della mia rom 1.2 è in realtà il kernel della rom Olleh 405, sostenendo inoltre che io non avrei applicato alcuna modifica allo stesso.
Dopo la mia rimostranza, ho fatto presente allo stesso "_n0p_" (scusate non è colpa mia, lo sò che è un nome ridicolo, probabilmente quando lo ha scelto aveva il singhiozzo), che il sottoscritto aveva pubblicato prima di lui sia l'internazionalizzazione della rom gingerbread, sia l'intuizione del "gpu mode" per far funzionare l'animazione CRT.
Io non ho mai utilizzato il lavoro di altri facendolo passare come mio, l'internazionalizzazione l'ho fatta completamente a mano, tanto è vero che le lingue disponibili nella mia precedente rom 2.3 sono di più e diverse. Le uniche directory "values.xx" prese dal post dell'utente "_n0p_", sono relative solamente ai file "framework-res" e "system-ui", e l'ho citato nei ringraziamenti del mio thread.
L'intuizione del "gpu" per il CRT, l'ho letta su un forum italiano, e l'ho applicata la sera del 23 ottobre. Il giorno successivo l'utente "_n0p_" l'ha pubblicata come sua invenzione sul suo thread, a me non importa niente, magari è solamente una stupida coincidenza, ma assolutamente NESSUNO può permettersi di darmi del ladro ingiustamente. L'unica mia mancanza è che non ho il "timestamp" dell'aggiunta al thread fatta quella sera, ma come potevo pensare di aver bisogno di prove per dovermi difendere???
Questa è una questione di principio......Vedete, se la cosa fosse successa nel mondo reale, sarebbe stato facile risolverla anche in altri modi, lui mi dà del ladro e del bugiardo ingiustamente, io lo gonfio di botte e poi lo denuncio (o viceversa). Su internet le cose funzionano in maniera leggermente diversa dalla realtà, qui le distanze in gioco implicano spesso l'impossibilità di difendersi, e ritenendomi profondamente offeso, ho deciso di abbandonare qualsiasi ulteriore sviluppo sul lavoro che ho fatto finora.
Ho scritto queste 4 righe in italiano per potermi esprimere al meglio visto che con l'inglese avrei avuto problemi a spiegare tutto questo, e con l'impiego dei mezzi moderni a disposizione, anche i non italiani non avranno problemi a tradurre nella propria lingua.
Questo non è più lo spirito che ho trovato nel 2009 qui su XDA.
Scusatemi per lo sfogo e per il tempo che vi ho "rubato" (l'unica cosa che chi mi conosce bene sà che potrei rubare).

Flashing zip packages or any other method is fine, as far as you have the option to add/remove what you want/dont want.
Apologies if i struck the wrong chord. My intention is only to help make this the perfect rom for our streaks.

Yeah Maxi... don't let it get to you... there are always critics... but keep your head high mate... your Roms are good and the fact that you do not want to be compensated for your work shows honesty. .. you even have proper credits to other devs....

Hey Maxi, Thanks for the beta testing link.. the ROM is zooming fast and responsive. Nice blue dropdown curtain and notification icons. GPS working, BT working, No random reboots since approx 8 hrs of running.
Bugs:
1. Wifi can not connect even after manual ip configuration
2. Sometimes phone did not ring on incoming call.
3. Phone doesnot wake up after call immediately, might be proximity sensor problem but this is what I've faced with all GB roms.
Please come back and continue your work which helped us to keep our hopes alive for our beloved streak5.
