Short answer, if you only download from the market aka don't download third party apps, you don't NEED it.

Way not true man, you can get jacked just scanning a QR code without consenting to install anything.

This is true. I know there were recent articles about this, do you know that lookout mobile security would protect you from this?

Theft Aware is where it's at. That **** will tell you when your sim has been changed, forward txt n much much more, I highly recommend it
