[Q] Nasty echo from cases on white galaxy s2

Hello everybody a few weeks ago me and my wife got sgs2's she has the white one and i have the black. We noticed that once we got some cases there was a nasty echo when the white hand set was called. we swapped the cases over and after a few tests worked out the black phone sounds fine (no echo ) with or with out a case on but the white phone echos with any case on but not if it has no case.
so my question is have any other white sgs2 ownes noticed this and is there any cure?

Do they have the same firmware?

yes both have xwk14 firmware

As I have the echo problem myself, KI8, I have done quite a bit of reading without solving the problem appart from turning off NR on every call.

This link has some more info. about what others have tested trying to find the reason for the problem.

I would be VERY surprised if your problem has anything to do with the white colour

Happened with both ki3 & ki8, gone back to using vented cover and not experiencing it any more

Found a setting somewhere in another thread that turns on an hd audio for voice.yet to test but may make a difference!

i HAVE A BLACK ONE. Same here, no echo without case (I have 2 different type of cases).

Does nobody have a confirmation from Samsung about this problem?
