Later edit: the ROM is great, but I have a major issue: Skype will either close automatically or stop responding after a few seconds... no error message... if it stops responding and I press "back" a couple of times it'll give me the three options: "force close", "wait", "report". When it closes on its own there's no force close message or anything... it just goes away.
Tried rebooting several times, un/installing Skype, no go.

for the Skype just move up to the sdcard :

-setting
-application
-manage the application
-search for skype
-and then move to sd card and delete clear data

and u will be able to connect on skype

here we are guys , i think we are ready for new updates .. still in test but it seems that some stuff are fixed in particular the reboot issue ...

I did exactly the same as you said, I can connect to skype, but video call is still not working

chk the apn settings and confirm it from ur network provider...
