Why does this car kit show a horizontal camera opening instead of a vertical one, like our phone has.

I too was trying to find this out. I can see no proof of a Audio Output on this dock. Don’t mean it doesn’t, but they are not advertising that it does, nor are there any pictures of it that I found. The Samsung OEM Infuse dock, that works perfect on our phones has an audio out that works even on our Epic Touch, and it is ½ the price as this one

the audio out doesn't work.... If you read his thread, that is the only thing he doesn't like about that dock.

I assume you are referring to my thread? It actually does work :) As it was pointed out to me in "my" review of the infuse dock thread, you just have to go in to the setting > dock settings > Check Use External Speakers...
