Flashing Instructions below .
- First time flashing Light'ning ROM V3 to your Sidekick 4G (or coming from another ROM)?
1) Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
2) Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
3) Do a Nandroid backup before procedding
4) WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
5) Install the ROM from /SDCARD using ClockworkMod Recovery
Supported devices : Sidekick 4G

If you have a problem with (2) bootanimation's at one please just rename the .bin in /system/bin into .bak .​

This rom looks great! one question before I install this rom. If i am coming from another custom rom, all i have to do is put this new rom on the sd card, reboot into recovery using rom manager and then wipe data, cache and then install from zip right? just making sure before i do it thanks in advance!

Every time i go to install this rom on my phone i get an error message that says error in the file name then status 0 and then installation aborted.

Anyway i can get just the file that would give me the lock screen with the options for phone, cam, txt, and unlock? im really digging it but dont want to switch entire roms.

I ended up getting it to flash. I ended up taking the battery out after i wiped everything and then let the phone reload, wiped again and then got it to flash and it worked. I dont get it. Anyhow just a couple things such as when i downloaded fancy widget and use the widget at 4x2 it kinda justifies itself to the left and does not go all the way across the screen. i dont know if its the widget or the launcher or part of the rom. the other thing is when you hold down the camera button it doesnt always respond and i know my button works.

    Looks like this kid ran for the hills. He posted in 8 different forums on 5 different devices that he successfully ported ICS and non of them even boot. I got to watch how I say thing....be very careful using this kids work. He's not trust worthy. I hope u can read between the lines.

    all you do is report people you are so useless just because he states the truth that you posted a bunch of ics ports that dont boot doesnt mean you have to get a mod and report him. grow up and just man up and dont run to mods like a baby when your **** sucks.

    The reason that the sk4g is still on froyo is cause you get little children like revolution who think they are hot ****. They dev "roms" then when it turns out to be a POS they get all sad and cry to a mod. That's why I dumped that Pos and got onto a real dev board. The only devs on the sk4g board who are any good are sduvick and ayoteddy
