[Q] Phone completely Bricked. USB jig didn't work.

Bricked my phone. I had no choice. I was in download mode and the phone completely froze on me and wouldn't move for hours. I tired:

-holding vol up+down and plugging in usb while on odin (battery out and back and other pre steps too.)
-Making a 300k ohm resistor jig. (Worked once, but when phone froze again I had to brick again and then it didn't work. It just showed me the bricked screen again)
-vol down + power

Nothing worked. I need more options.

EDIT: Of course 5 mintues after I troubleshoot I fix it. Apparently if I just hold vol down and plug in the usb it worked fine. I still don't understand why my jig wouldn't work.

Check my sig. Am I Bricked? Read it.

i've made my own jig as well but it didn't work... after ordering one from MobileTechVideos.com it worked flawlessly. Seems the jig's are super finicky if home-made. Well worth the $8.

Not really. did you have rubber or black tape to to isolate your fingers from the resistors? I've always used cheap crappy radio shack resistors and never had issues...... Considering the phone will go in to download mode ~280k ohms-309k ohms.
