Default [Q] Ice Cream Sandwich

Do you guys think the mytouch 4g slide will get an Ice Cream Sandwich update swiftly?

Doubtful. T mobile, and all US carriers in general are absolutely abysmal when it comes to rolling out updates on time. Normally the rest of the world is an update or two ahead of us when it comes to official updates.

i hear it's going to make the doubleshot processor use both cores

pahaha ! I'd rather CM 8 than the official update anyway. Have any estimations on how long it would take once ICS source is out and we have CM 7 running?

It already uses both cores. This is implemented below the android layer -- in the kernel itself. The Linux kernel has always been SMP.

"CM" version numbers are meaningless.
The only version number here that matters is "4.0".
