Default New update available

There is a update available. I'm sure everyone here knows how to do it but for those who don't go to settings/about phone/htc software update. It just says its a security update. I'm gonna download it now

Well I thought htc might be nice and unlock the bootloader with the update but unfortunately they didn't. I can't really tell any difference so far.

Of course not.

Try checking if wifi calling is enabled now.
Try the one click root method to make sure htc didn't screw us already.

No wifi calling in the update, Nov 13th it will be coming out. I didnt really notice anything new in the update. It didnt block us from anything. you can still do the perm-temp root in the dev section and unlock bootloaders through htcdev, so not sure what the update is.

How do you perm-temp root the amaze? I looked at the dev section and didn't see anything... Thanks.

You didn't see anything? Seriously? Look again.

Try looking for Easy Perm Root One Click

I would seriously think twice about taking any updates if you want s-off. Chances are they found an exploit that one of our dev might take advantage of.
