Ok, I know it is kind of early but,
Is there any hope of Android 4.0 on The Samsung Galaxy S+?
I doubt it would be an official update, but a custom ROM?

samsung has promised android 4.0 for all gt-xxxx series models!

I don't think it is true.
A lot of GT-XXXXX don't have 2.3 so what about 4.0 :/

Ps. in Poland i9000 don't have 2.3.

On my sgs+ i have 2.3.5 officially from Samsung

as i'm read at engadget, a device that come with 2.3.x will get the ics update.. ..hope its true..

Well, it depends on your carrier. In Romania I think Vodafone is still on 2.3.3 but I found the official 2.2.5 version on this forum that contained Vodafone RO.
I am not sure but it might have your country too, try checking that out and try to manually flash it if you really want 2.3.5

the question is, when will samsung officially release ICS for us? 6 months later?
