New OTA Update Announced - 2.16.531.5

Looks like we are getting another OTA (2.16.531.5):

Supposedly has better battery life, security updates, and some other improvements.

Anybody receive this yet?

I'm sure someone will post it. Hope a new radio is included. I just want it for parts

I think it might include a new radio because one of the things the link mentions is improved "Data connection while roaming domestically"

Only for G2 or DZ will get this too?

Hope they fix the sense crash :/

I can't wait, I hope there is a new radio too. I'm lookin for glite, g2 bliss and xboarders stock roms to get updated to this new base.

What the hell is a "4ext"?

4ext is a new recovery based off of CWM. It has lots of extra features such as theming, displaying partition information, renaming backups, etc.

There should be a thread in the dev section.

As to whether is possible or not that the tmo ota will be a 4ext rom, I'm not sure what that question means. Maybe he meant A3xt rom?

New radio will be nice, but that's about all I want from this update.
Where's the OTA for ICS 4.0???
I will be properly annoyed if the nexus phones get it and G2 owners are left behind...
Our device is very nearly superior to the old Nexus phones. No reason why we should be held back.
