Checkrom RevoHD v6 + Speedmod = MONSTER xD GTA III full details liquid smooth, first time on my SGS2. None of 4.0.3 could do that, this combination ROX!

For those of you wanting to move to ics but haven't because if no Jkay support ergo no CRv7, I'd recommend trying WanamLite 11.2 rom, with Apex launcher, the stock kernel that comes with it, cfroot 5.4 I believe is perfect for the job. Stop asking for etas and make the switch.

If like me you like what you see, job done. You'll be happy to use this (trust me you will and when CRv7 is released you can come back if you again you like what you see). If not and you coming screaming back to Checkrom v6 with Jkays mod, you'll have a new found respect for the Checkrom team and Jkays work, and will be more patient

Roger that, still using checkROM v6 very happily and patiently waiting for v7! No need to try other rom because no jkay mod, no worries, i am waiting. Take your time!

Perfect rom recipe = ICS checkROM v7 plus jkay mod + ICS Domination + siyah ICS kernel.

I was a very big fan of Wanams ROMs back on GB, but with his ICS ROMs... I don't know... He does not seem to have a clear 'philosophy' or something...

He keeps adding more and more stuff, even some hubs are back now. Thats not 'lite'

Good ROMs definately, but he keeps changing basic stuff with every release...

I am also waiting patiently for CR7 but TBH i am not greatly dependent on JKay mod. So yea, can do w/o it and thus just flashed D4 Rom. IMO i feel that my phone is for me to enjoy, thus shudnt be dependent on a certain ROM or mods. No offense but sure, JKay mod is great, but shudnt be to the extend that i practically cant use my phone or rather stuck at a certain ROM just bcos of Jkay. heehee.

meanwhile, I will cont stalking around this thread (like I been doin for past few mths ever since I used CR6 which is the greatest GB ROM so far (although its the only GB ROM i have used ))

Take ur time LeoMar and GC with the CR7! Hope to see another great masterpiece by you 2!

What if:

- Jkay decides not to develop his mod for GSGII any more? Would you sell your phone and find a new one? On GB I really loved Jkay. But since ICS and not being able to use Jkay's mod, I found Lidroid almost as good with his toggle mod.

Besides that there's also CM and AOSP/AOKP. Using Hydrog3nICS for the last month now and must say that I'm impressed by the ammount of tweaks that come standard with this ROM. All without flashing.
E.g.

battery icons can be changed on the fly
Clock position can be changed on the fly
Colors of status bar items (clock, connectivity can be changed)
Statusbar transparency can be adjusted on the fly
Notification icons have adjustable transparency
Notification layout can be changed
Baked in cpu and voltage control
Etc

I think Leo, imo the best GB Sammy based ROM creator XDA has seen, has one hell of a job developing a Sammy based ROM that tops the AOKP ROMs

But Jkay is carrying on his mod
