Default [Q] problems with htc amaze 4g

I have got Amaze last week, but there are two main problems with this device.

First, the "power off" button doesn't work sometimes, no responses when I long press the button.

Second, after installing some apps(about 60), wifi has some problem---when the

screen off and I open again, the wifi is automatically cut off. Even though there is a wifi "label" on top of the screen, I can't browse internet. Then I manually cut off the wifi and connect again, it works. But everytime the screen closes( u know, it is unwise to keep the screen always on), the wifi will be cut off automatically. I don't know the reason. I have changed a new one this week but same problems arise!!! I am driven crazy!!! Could sb nice to help me????

besides, I have tried "factory reset", and problems will go. but when I install apps again, problem rises again...

DONATE TO ME
I'm having the same issue with the power off. It was working earlier but it looks like it stopped after I applied the htc update. I've been working all day and that's the only change

to solve the wifi problem....

go to settings, then click on wireless and networks,

scroll down to wifi setting and click

On the wifi settings page touch the second capacitive button on the phone, then click on advanced settings..

On advanced settings page, change the wifi sleep policy to never..

This should solve your problem

Our power buttons were notorious for just not working one day.

I am noticing quite a bit of light bleed onto the screen from the soft key LEDs ... Does anyone else notice this, or is it the nature of the beast? I am used to amoled screens, but this screen is beautiful.
