Default Is there a fix for the GPS using XXKI3 firmware ?
Is there a Fix for the GPS with this firmware, takes ages to lock on to satilites .

I have no isses with gps on KI3 modem and firmware (gingermod 0.6)

You can try KI4 modem to see if it make any difference.

Also try this app https://market.android.com/details?i...asterFix&hl=en

Select your country under Optimized Server Location and apply. Now check how's your gps.

I use faster fix in the UK and can confirm it speeds the fix time up.

I've updated to XXKI4 now and its much quicker ... strange :-/
