Has anybody tried DSP Manager both in Runnymede AIO and AOSP ROMs? When using it in Runnymede the change in sound quality is IMPRESSIVE, while in AOSP is kind of meh. I suppose the audio libs are different, but I don't know how to replicate the effect in AOSP ROMs... any ideas?

Sorry to break it to you but the beats earphones have no magical chip in them
to make them any different than a good pair of earphones ( your paying for the name)
The beats part is only a software eq
If you want to enable go into system/rc tweaks/miscellaneous and then enable
