running rose v3 for 30 mins so far withotu configuring facebook and without copying in htctwitter.... no fcs at all, working perfectly other than camera (which doens't work even with the workaround suggested by peach or whomever... no way to make the screen preview work correctly although ti does in video mode).

so if camera gets fixed then this is a kickass really fast gb sense rom as long as you dont' try to use friendstream or htc facebook integration.

Saw this rom listed just after installing deckedforlife. Was gonna stay on that ROM and just decided to try this for a laugh to see how slow it was. Astonished by how good this is, everything seems to work, the sense additions are quite nice and it runs very smoothly, so I won't be going back to the aosp (even though it's very good also). Thank you very much very pleased with this.

ya know what's really bizarre? how little time truly passes between 20 and 40. Until 20 life took forever and I had all the time in the world to get things done. then from 20 until 40 everything went twice as fast. I remember 20 like it was yesterday.

there's really very little difference between being 20 and being 60 even. I've learned that pretty clearly. that's why you didn't notice - because if you can't see someone and aren't made aware of their age - then it actually doesn't matter at all.

note: camera 360 screen preview also locks up the same way.

there must be something in the way the devs made this version of the rom faster (cool display hack or similar) that breaks the camera.

unfortunate for those of us who use the camera regularly, crappy though it may be.

I learned my PC skills on a ZX Spectrum..... and thats why I leave the developing to you youngsters. I am old and wise enough to sit back and reap the rewards.

the google matched contact suggestion thing is doing it's magic but not creating any FCs either. so that was never the problem either.

I really think the issue is in the htc facebook integration. maybe because our hardware doesn't have the fb button? not sure. but anyway, without configuring htc facebook integration in this rom I'm having a 100% FC free experience so far.

I'l fire up my FB account and try adding it later.... see if there are any FC's where so far its been FC free since the initial setup.

I coudln't figure out any way to disable preview. I looked at all options, checked it's settings, etc. maybe this setting is hidden away somewhere other than in the camera app?

Been using V3 around 24 hours now..

My only complaint is that its too slow for me Im even running my hero on 729 / 537 performance, and its still pretty laggy here and there.. But its getting there !
