Default Evo Design 4g root possible?

My bro just picked one up, and we were wondering how root... has it been done, if not, which method would be best to root... any input would be much appreciated...

From my BIONIC COMMANDO using XDA app
Made it mine:
•G'Nex 4.2.2 JB Sourcery v5.4 Encore Franco 4.2.2 vR372
•OUYA 1.0328 SU-busybox-superuser-CWM

You should've posted this in Q&A or General. This is the dev forum. (Just saying it before hand everyone else does)
But there are root methods. Since he just picked one up, it probably has 2.3 Gingerbread on there.
You will have to follow the Downgrade to froyo method. Then root using the GUI Tool. That's the only method for gingerbread.

Shifted from my EVO.

The other posters are right, this is the wrong section.. It's also the wrong forum. This is the EVO Shift forum, any mods, hacks or rooting methods will not apply to the EVO Design.

DONATE TO ME
well if it is the new Evo Design 4g aka Kingdom that was release oct 23rd then it is a locked down phone with a signed bootloader. You will need to get into contact with these gentlemen http://revolutionary.io/ as they will be your only chance of getting true root
