Question [Q] DSP Manager on the SGS2

Does anyone know how to get DSP Manager to work on the SGS2?

DSP Manager is pretty much the only thing i miss about CM7. I've tried replacing the MusicPlayer.apk from /system/app with Music.apk and installed DSP Manager in RootExplorer but no luck...Anyone have any ideas?
My newest phone:

HTC One M7 | Android Revolution HD 9.4 | TeamM7 Performance Kernel

LG Nexus 4 16GB | Stock | Rooted | Franco's Kernel

LG Optimus 4X HD - | CM10.1 RC2 | Wolf v004 Kernel

My new Toy:
Red Asus Transformer Pad TF300T | CROMI 4.2.2.| CWM

I too would like to see DSP on my SGS2. Luv it on my Defy but it doesn't work on SGS2. Pulled the apk from another rom, installed on SGS2. UI comes up and functions but no sound adjustments work. Evidently missing software components on our SGS2 that it needs to work.

It's included in the beast mod ROM as well as bombardier

Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Option A: Sent from somewhere that I or my Hercules chose to get blazed.

Option B: (clapping) Hercules! Hercules! Hercules!

You guys know the stock music players has it built in. Music settings equalizer set to custom. Its actually quite better than the standard dsp manager. It even has 5.1 sound settings.
