Probably hasn't ever owned a phone with a rom built from the ground up. Tdj is good at what he does. But aosp aokp is worlds ahead. I miss my nexus alone for the brightness slider in the notifications menu.Click image for larger version

I guess you have never slid your finger across the top of your homescreen...along the notification bar? (You don't even need to pull down). It allows you to select the brightness you prefer.

Easy Peasy.

Funny I've known about this since my epic 4g and have tried it on every phone since. I can't get swipe across status bar brightness to work for the life of me. That's besides the point. I merely was showing off one of the very many aokp add ons I treasured. Cmon. You can't deny that you wouldn't want these status bar toggles! They're bad ass!

Dont know about light years ahead, AOSP and TDJ's roms are very different creatures. It comes down to preference in AOSP and TW. TDJ is good at pretty much everything he works on. Kernels especially.
Watch THIS if your new before you ask your question
And THIS is awesome.

If you were pleased with juggernaut like most others then I would wait for AOKP. We have waited so long for ics and waiting another week or so will not hurt because the same Devs (Team Kang) make both juggernaut and AOKP. I'm confident it will be second to none and an experience that should really be enjoyed straight from tmobile and Samsung themselves.

In lieu of my last comment TDJ is without a doubt one of the top devs within the community and all of his work is greatly appreciated as well.
