mint indeed is a good fork of ubuntu but it comes with same advantages and disadvantages of systems..only reason mint is making up this days is Gnome3 which helped them to break legacy of Ubuntu in distrowatch rankings..
I was thinking of getting cm7 sources and optimizing framework and some other cores for SGA by reverse engineering samsung values..
that might reduce some performance but may increase battery.. but main concern is will it benefit that much ??

Eww everyone knows Arch tanks it after a good researched install. Im running Win8 atm. Not bad if you have a touch pc

I'm still waiting for the final product of Windows 8...
Planning to get a Windows 8 and Ivybridge powered ultrabook next year...
